British Royal family news says that as one of the first decisions he probably made as the new King of England, King Charles III wanted to make sure that Meghan Markle was kept at a distance. In fact, there are new reports that say King Charles wanted Prince Harry to leave his wife behind when he traveled to Balmoral Castle to see Queen Elizabeth one more time before her death. Here’s what you need to know.

According to Page Six, King Charles made it pretty clear that he didn’t think it would be appropriate for the Duchess of Sussex to join the other members of the royal family in saying their last good-byes to Queen Elizabeth before her death. Even though it was initially reported that Meghan was supposed to travel to Scotland, a few hours later reports said that Harry would be going on his own. He also ended up several hours later before everyone else.
One source close to the situation said, “Charles told Harry that it wasn’t right or appropriate for Meghan to be in Balmoral at such a deeply sad time. It was pointed out to him that Kate [Middleton] was not going and that the numbers really should be limited to the very closest family.”
On Thursday, the Royal Family shared an announcement via Twitter that said, “The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon. The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.”
Prince William and Harry Reunited
Prince Harry was also the first to leave Scotland on Friday morning, suggesting that there still is a lot of iciness between him and other members of the royal family. Some have speculated that Meghan might have been the reason why Harry was held back in London. He missed his final opportunity to say good-bye to his beloved grandmother.
That said, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle did join Prince William and Kate Middleton to greet well-wishers outside the gates of Windsor Castle on Saturday morning. It was the first time that all four royals were reunited since Harry and Meghan pulled the plug on their working relationship with the rest of the royal family.

Even if Kate had gone to see the Queen in her, the Queens final ours or have gone to support Williams family in their grief, that should have no bearing on Meghan being permitted to visit. The situation should be based on genuine love and grief. Would the Queen or her family want loyal and supportive Kate there, very likely. Alternatively would at a time of pain and sorrow would the Queen or her family really want or need the obvious stress antagonistic Meghan would bring, especially after her recent spiteful interview. Why should Meghan be permitted to attend such an emotional and challenging situation just because Meghan wanted to be there for what would now seem, after recent her comments in that article nothing but an opportunity for self promotion, being there to be seen rather than out of any genuine grief or concern for the family. If her and Harry are now seen to suddenly support the family they constantly slander, it seems more like out of concern for what inheritance they will get and what they can now get out of Harry’s dad now he’s Kings. Because they sure as hell didn’t give Charles any thought of kindness or consideration over the past two years, where Charles was frequently cast as a failure of a father by Harry and his wife. It is not the family who has failed Harry and Meghan, it is themselves becase they are spoiled, petty, childish relatives who deserve nothing more than polite indifference.

There is nothing racist about Charles wanting to keep the visit to the Queens children and William and Harry. There were others, direct grandchildren not there such as Zara, so what is racist about his choice? That horrible article just days before she died and then knowing how sick and frail she was and they subbed seeing her. Why would any family, of any race not be angry with Meghan and Harry.
