King Charles features in a new Amazon documentary about the environment. If you don’t know, back in the day he was considered a bit strange for his cultural and wildlife interests. Well, these days, he’s mostly respected for it in certain circles. Read on to find out more.

The Monarch Loves The Environment

The news that King Charles appeared in the trailer for Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision came via The Telegraph on YouTube this week. Queen Elizabeth’s son was influenced by various writers and personalities during his 75 or so years of life.

Of course, the new documentary comes at time when climate change is on the agenda. And, as so many scaremongering stories about that emerged over the last 20 years or so, not everyone believes in it. Still, nature lovers will probably enjoy watching the new documentary. Originally, the news about it arrived in late 2025, but the trailer is more recent than that.

A Big Environmental Influence

Did you know that Laurens van der Post, famous for his books about the San people of Southern Africa, taught the then-Prince a lot about spirituality and nature?

Despite the fact that much of Van der Post’s work was later claimed to be a lot of BS, he certainly was a leader in the field of the way humankind and the natural environment interact. To this day, the time that King Charles spent with him reveals a deep commitment to the planet.

The New Documentary

In the trailer for Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision, various scenes of King Charles arrive of him talking about how he always advocated for harmony with nature. But, he admitted it wasn’t always easy. In fact, he said that it’s been “an uphill struggle.” The narration showed how young Prince Charles was “ahead at the beginning, saying the truth.”

Well, now probably the whole world knows that he was on track for a better world before humanity destroyed all of nature. Of course, many conservationists always felt that Charles was an important voice for them. And nowadays, the King is in a position to carry a lot more influence than he was as a young man.

Reactions From Viewers

In the comments section, many people agree that nature and the protection thereof is important. But, there are a lot of folks who hate the World Economic Forum’s push on climate change and Net Zero. So, not everyone cheered.

One person wrote, “He is correct about nature but not in connecting CO2 with bad nature. CO2 is an essential gas for nature to flourish.”

Here are a few other reactions from the discussion:

  • This is EXACTLY why he cannot be trusted. His mother was loved because she didn’t interfere. He’s interfering. He won’t be loved.
  • What a sell out bet he won’t pay tax on the money made on it , also climate change is just a con…
  • Maybe do a documentary about how a monarch wrecked the british economy.
  • Priviliged elite.

Of course, not everyone hates the idea of the King making his documentary, and one person opined, “Great trailer. Of course King Charles III is right. Once again he is proving to people that he is a real leader.”
