Royal family news recently revealed King Charles III evicting Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from Frogmore Cottage. And Charles received criticism from some for booting his son out of the cottage. However, now an insider claims that Harry’s royal father might extend an olive branch.
Find out what King Charles could offer the Duke and Duchess of Sussex after evicting them. And learn how it represents an olive branch. Get all the royal details below.
King Charles – Reaches Out To Meghan Markle And Prince Harry
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry reportedly felt shocked when King Charles evicted them from Frogmore Cottage. And the news that Harry’s father had booted him sparked a backlash. As a result, King Charles has come up with a politically correct way to extend an olive branch to both his son and Meghan Markle, an expert told Fox News.
Because Frogmore Cottage won’t be available when Meghan and Harry visit the UK, King Charles could offer the Duke and Duchess of Sussex the keys to an apartment in Buckingham Palace. That way, the couple can enjoy the suite of rooms when they spend time in the UK. And Christopher Andersen, author of The King, believes that offer seems likely.
Andersen predicted that Charles, 74, would probably reach out to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle prior to his coronation. By offering the Duchess and Duke of Sussex the rooms, Charles would make a wise public relations move, according to the expert. And that means it should happen soon, because the king will be crowned on May 6 at London’s Westminster Abbey.
King Charles – Faces ‘Blowback’ Over Evicting His Son
But the ultimate decision stems from appearance. And King Charles wants to lead by example. As a result, public perception that a father evicted his son comes across completely wrong. And so an olive branch in the form of a cottage replacement seems like the ideal solution, said Andersen.
“There’s been a bit of blowback over the king’s decision to evict the Sussexes from Frogmore Cottage,” admitted the royal family expert. “And the last thing Charles wants is to look like a heartless landlord. The king also needs to throw Harry a lifeline – a place where he can bring his family.”

As a result, Andersen feels that Charles likely will offer the suite of rooms to his son. Such an offer would help Harry and Meghan to “feel safe if, at the last minute, the Sussexes decide to show up for the coronation,” added the expert. However, he admitted, “It remains to be seen whether this will be enough to coax Harry and Meghan back to London for the big day. Given all the flak they’ve been getting on both sides of the pond, it’s just as likely the Sussexes will opt to shelter in place.”
Tell us what you think. If King Charles offers Meghan and Harry an apartment in Buckingham Palace, do you think it will make up for their eviction? And do you predict that Harry will respond to his invitation from His Majesty’s office regarding the coronation with an RSVP? God bless the royal family. It’s been one thing after another with these people. Whom ever would’ve thought royalties would act such a way. “I surely didn’t.” But what’s in the dark does eventually come to light. Time is too, too short for family division. I hope they’ll get it together and come together to be a better example for the world. They are royalty people but titles don’t make people a perfect people. I wish them well!!!
Happy Birthday to the Duke Of Edinburgh!! And his lovely wife, the new Duchess if Edinburgh. Congratulations to both.
