King Charles ‘Flexing’ His Power In Front Of Harry And Meghan

Just to recall, King Charles shared a statement with the media that clarified Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s roles in the royal family now that they are living in the UK again and clearly stated that they are private citizens and nothing more.

The King said, “The charitable work of the Duke and Duchess is a personal matter for them both and undertaken in their private capacity. In short, their position is akin to private citizens with commercial and charitable interests.”

Of course, many royalists on both sides of the pond certainly did have a lot to say about the matter on social media.

Some have even commented with, “I read the whole letter or notice or whatever we want to call it, it did not seem like a shot across the bow to me, but rather the result of so much gossip and misinformation and bs.”

What’s Next For Harry And Meghan?

Another royalist wrote, “Charles was setting the record straight in a simple straightforward way to stem the flow and provide answers as to the Sussexes being private citizens, not on taxpayer tit, and where to get information: BP or whatever relevant police agency in terms of security.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Aside from security arrangements, does anyone in the general public care they’re not working royals?

They’re still Harry and Meghan, son and daughter in law of KC3. What magic hocus pocus does the palace believe makes a difference between working royals and private citizens?”

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about all of the speculation, but at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said. Watch this space as we have a feeling there is so much more to come.
