King Charles Remembers Queen Elizabeth

The monarch is undergoing cancer treatment for an undisclosed type of the disease. Last week he raised eyebrows with an unscheduled hospital admittance, due to the side effects of his treatment.

According to Buckingham Palace, Charles was taken to the hospital after experiencing “temporary side effects … that required a short period of observation in hospital.”

He was released that same day and the next day, Thursday, March 27, Charles departed Clarence House for Highgrove, the royal family’s country estate in Gloucestershire.

King Charles Celebrate Mother’s Day

This is the first cancer free Mother’s Day that his daughter-in-law, Princess Catherine has celebrated following the announcement of her cancer last March. As of January, Kate Middleton is now in remission following a course of preventative treatment.

Kate was praised for the way she handled her diagnosis and treatment, and described as a role model for others.

Her Instagram Mother’s Day tribute included a reel celebrating her family: “Over the past year, nature has been our sanctuary. This Mother’s Day, let us celebrate Mother Nature and recognize how our bond with the natural world can help not only nurture our inner selves, but remind us too of the role we play within the rich tapestry of life.
