King Charles III Critics Accuse Him Of Clout-Chasing Archie

King Charles will be officially made the new monarch after a coronation where he gets anointed. Traditionally, the ceremony goes back nearly 1,000 years and takes place at Westminster Abbey. So, it’s partly about old tradition and it has religious overtones. Now that people know the date for the coronation, a lot of people are outraged. That’s because it happens on Archie Mountbatten-Windsor’s birthday.

King Charles III Coronation Date

The coronation date was rumored to come along on June 3 in the summer. Nevertheless, new reports confirm that it takes place on May 6, 2023. Apparently, it will stick to the usual pomp and pageantry but will be a sort of modernized version. People who follow the royal family with skepticism will, no doubt, look for nefarious symbolism. Actually, there are a lot of theories about it on social media.

King Charles III is reportedly considering a trimmed-back ceremony in keeping with his supposed awareness of how they spend the taxpayers’ money. However, some folks seemed annoyed. After all, policies with Russia mean a long and freezing winter looms, and nobody’s in the mood for any waste of money. Mind you, other people just think he should go the whole hog or not bother at all. After all, it’s not like he was ever as popular as his mother, Queen Elizabeth.

King Charles III Coronation Controversy

When BuzzFeed shared the new date on Twitter, some folks were shocked because it’s also Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s son, Archie Mountbatten-Windsor’s birthday. The outlet’s post noted, “There are 365 days in the year… but y’all chose this one.” Well, some critics of Prince Harry mentioned that on a previous birthday, Harry went and played polo on his son’s birthday. But, generally, folks are angry about the choice of date.

Critics of King Charles slammed him, even though it could be a decision made by the government. And, @MeghansMayHive noted, “…Charles’s love of Middle East bags of cash/Millions, makes it hard to believe it’s his or a “Firm oversight.” They noted that “he chose May 6th, both Jewish Sabbath and Shabbat. The King and his “Firm” [knows] thousands of observant Jews won’t be able to travel to London or watch live on tv. “

Clout-Chasing A Toddler?

King Charles got a lot of critics for scheduling the coronation for May 6. @DBrown99944 said in the comments, “LOL King Chuckleberry clout-chasing his toddler grandson,” adding, “The man has no shame😂.”

In defense of the new monarch, it is also apparently scheduled to not clash with other big events. And, it is the anniversary of King George’s succession. Notably, he founded the House of Windsor. Some folks argue that it seems unlikely that Charles would even travel to the USA to celebrate his grandson’s birthday, anyway.

A 4 year old knows his birthday is whatever day you tell them it is, for crying out loud suck it up, get real and just stop the crap. The folks who think for one GD minute that a 4 year old little boys birthday is more important then a kings coronation need to go get some mental health counseling and hope their problem is not just stupidity.
