British royal family news shows that Prince Harry has long been compared to Prince Andrew in a most undignified way. Both are royal rejects, based on behavior unbecoming to the crown.

But with a new era unfolding under King Charles’ reign there are renewed whispers about the two scandal-prone princes. Keep reading to find out why pundits suggest they may not have as much in common as you think.

Royal Family News – Princes Andrew and Harry Are Scandal-Prone

You may have read that King Charles generously allowed Andrew’s ex-wife/live-in partner access to the family holiday.

Sarah Ferguson was kept on the outside by the late Prince Philip who saw her as unacceptable due to salacious scandals of her own.

The social opening afforded Sarah lit the rumor mill up that Charles is now ready to forgive and forget the sins of Harry and Andrew as well as Sarah’s. Not so fast, chimes in royal expert Richard Eden.

In his Palace Confidential newsletter, Eden addressed Harry and Andrew’s possible reentry into the royal hierarchy: “The King’s embrace of the Duke and Duchess of York shows that there is a way back for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.”

“However, unlike Harry and Meghan, Andrew and Sarah have never attacked the Royal Family. Quite the opposite: they have always lavished praise on their relations.”

And that is a huge difference. While Andrew has his nasty association with dead convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein to account for, and Sarah has ugly pics of her lover sucking her toes floating around, neither has publicly attacked the monarchy as Meghan and Harry have.

Eden continued “King Charles used his Christmas Day broadcast to emphasize that ‘the words of Jesus seem more than ever relevant … He demonstrated his capacity for forgiveness by inviting Sarah, Duchess of York to join her ex-husband, Prince Andrew, and senior members of the Royal Family at church in Sandringham.”

Charles’ olive branch comes after Andrew “was stripped of royal duties by their late mother, Queen Elizabeth.”

Andrew’s happiness may be short-lived as “forthcoming publication of court documents which are expected to link him to the late Epstein and reignite the sordid scandal” are due to be made public in the New Year.

It will be interesting to see how Charles reacts to any tawdry revelations concerning Andrew.
