At this point, it’s not just the right thing to do, it might be the only thing to do. Clearly, we are talking about King Charles as it seems like he is being pressured to send a message of defiance to President Donald Trump.

That’s because there are a lot of people out there who think the King of England should back out from his meeting with Trump and cancel his trip to the United States altogether.

This, after Pope Leo canceled his own visit to the U.S. after he called out Trump and his ongoing war with Iran right now. Pope Leo made it pretty clear that he believes all of the tension in the Middle East is doing more harm than good.

Clearly, royalists on both sides of the pond had a lot to say about the matter on social media.

Some even commented with, “Charles has no character. He cut off his own son and grandchildren. He destroyed his former wife. He is not in the same sphere of moral uprightness and courage to do what Pope Leo is doing.”

Another critic of the royal family wrote, “As a citizen in a commonwealth country that the big orange doofus keeps threatening to take over — king Chucky OWES is better than this. He should not be going there.”

King Charles Has A Big Decision To Make

And then there was this comment as well: “In addition to what everyone else has said, it’s also the one Trump would care most about. He’s obsessed with prestige. Being snubbed by the king of England might not change his policies, but it would hurt his feelings, and I support that.”

Now, whether or not King Charles does pull the plug on his upcoming meeting with Donald Trump remains to be seen, but it seems like there’s very little chance that will actually happen.

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter, although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said. Watch this space as we have a feeling there is so much more to come.
