There’s a new report that suggests the King of England is feeling in denial over his trip to Samoa and Australia later this year.

According to the Daily Beast, the Australia tour has been reduced to just six days with the king’s trip to New Zealand canceled altogether.

That’s mostly because his handlers don’t think it’s a good idea for King Charles to attend one royal engagement after another while overseas while he’s still dealing with his cancer battle.

There’s also a good chance that King Charles might finally be realizing that he’s taking on more than he can handle right now with his declining health.

Royal Family News – What’s Next For The King Of England?

One source close to the situation even put it this way, “Charles is keenly aware of the importance of a visit by the monarch, not just to a foreign country but to domestic charities and organizations.”

“That is why he has been determined to do as much as he can, meet as many people as he can and support as many causes as he can. Sitting in splendid isolation in Balmoral with his feet up would not be good for his morale.”

Then again, there’s speculation that King Charles wants to prove to the world that he can still take on his work, even though he technically can’t.

“But at the same time, if the doctors—and his wife—say no to something, he has to listen to them. I think that is what we are seeing now.”

So far Buckingham Palace has made no comments about the matter just yet although it’s doubtful that anything will be said at this time.
