He is his younger brother after all. There’s a new report that suggests King Charles is having a very hard time cutting off his younger brother, Prince Andrew.

Even though the Duke of York’s association with Jeffrey Epstein is hanging like a dark cloud over the royal family, King Charles knows that if he tries to cut him off, there are going to be some serious repercussions not only for his brother, but for the entire monarchy as well. One source close to the situation even put it this way, “The King has no option but to completely cut ties with Andrew. He will forever be tainted by his association with Epstein and despite his denials of wrongdoing, the constant drip of information about Epstein and Ghislaine Max­­well is a stain on the Royal Family.”

The insider also added, “There is no way back for him. Andrew should have no place in public alongside the King or any other member of the Royal Family.”

Now, whether or not King Charles does cut off Prince Andrew remains to be seen but at this point it’s highly unlikely that will happen.

That’s because both the Duke of York and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson were included in this year’s royal holiday festivities at Sandringham Estate with King Charles and Queen Camilla.

Their invite certainly wasn’t an accident. King Charles doesn’t want more drama and negativity surrounding the royal family as there is enough as it is already. That’s why he’s doing his best to make peace with his little brother, even though it has come with a cost.

King Charles knows that he can’t erase Prince Andrew’s past but at least he can do something to make sure that what he’s done won’t repeat in the future.
