King Charles Is Not Ready To Give Up His Power Just Yet
Even though the King of England is really wanting to get home after his greuling tour of Australia to restart his cancer treatment, he’s still putting all of his energy into his royal engagements and public appearances.
Yet, sources close to the monarch says that despite his strength and resilience, he still needs to take a few days off. After all, he is dealing with the biggest health battle of his life. His age certainly isn’t helping him, either.
Before he left Samoa, King Charles told his adoring crowd that he will “always remain devoted to this part of the world” and that he hopes he “survives long enough to come back again and see you.”
Yet, a lot of people couldn’t help but notice that King Charles looked very tired during his tour, which shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone.
What’s Next For King Charles?
Royal author and expert Charles Rae, who always has something to say about the royal family on almost a daily basis, weighed in on the matter in an interview with GB News.
He said, “I thought it was a fabulous tour. When you think that some of the Republicans in Australia were dubbing it the ‘farewell tour’, it turns out it’s the ‘please come back soon’ tour.”
“In Australia, there’s always been talk of republicanism and everything else, and it turns out in the end, with the greatest respect to them, to be a damp squib.”
Rae continued, “There was one stage where I saw the King and Queen sitting on those armchairs, and Camilla lifted her fan up to speak to the King, and I just thought he looked a little bit tired.”
“It’s been a gruelling eleven days, and some of those days he was doing ten functions a day. So I think he’ll be glad to get back home, and glad to restart this cancer treatment.”
So far King Charles himself has made no additional comments about the matter. Let us know what you think by leaving us a line with your thoughts in our comments section below.
