King Charles Just Ended A Major Royal Christmas Tradition
Apparently, the broadcast was filmed earlier in December at the Lady Chapel at Westminster Abbey in London.
It’s been noted that the serene setting breaks tradition as it marks the first time that the monarch’s Christmas message was recorded there.
But here’s the thing: a lot of people believe that King Charles purposely did not want to film his Christmas broadcast near his desk because everyone would speculate about all of the family portraits that usually surround him in front of the cameras.
If photos of Prince Harry, Meghan Markle or even Prince Andrew would appear, there’s no doubt that both royal fans and critics would have a lot to say about it.

Royal Family News: King Charles Just Made A Very Smart Move
But if their photos weren’t anywhere to be seen, then that too would give critics a reason to believe that King Charles is trying to send the royal family and even the world a message, even if that wasn’t his intention at all.
Either way, a lot of people believe that filming his Christmas message at the Lady Chapel was a smart move on King Charles’s end. Of course, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.
Some even took to social media to comment with, “They’re talking about it like this is some revolutionary move towards equality between the BRF and the general populace. Meanwhile, he’s just changed locations.”
Another critic of the royal family wrote, “The day he pays his taxes in full is the day he’ll be moving towards real equality with his subjects.”

And then there was this comment as well: “It’s smart. We don’t have to worry about who is in the dog house because he can’t risk showing any family photos.”
So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter just yet.
