King Charles Laid Down Strict Sandringham Rules For Prince Harry And Meghan

Last week saw Prince Harry and Meghan Markle confirm that they’re indeed bringing their children with them when they travel to the UK this July.

With this news, it seemed that Harry’s wishes for the kids to spend the summer at Sandringham has come true.

But like every gift, it came with its own strings, and dare I say, considering the Sussexes’ track record, they’re necessary strings.

King Charles Wants Prince Harry and Meghan Markle To Respect the Privacy of Sandringham Castle

Sandringham Castle is a place where the royals gather for big moments, like summer vacations, and most especially Christmas celebrations.

This is a slice of life that Harry’s children, now 5 and 7, have sadly missed out on year after year.

Earlier this year, we learned through a source that this reality has been troubling Harry for a while, and he’s been doing his utmost to mend the broken bridge that once tied him to the Royal Family.

Well, you can’t build relationships from across the pond, and that is probably why Harry devised the summer stay at Sandringham, in hopes the children will get to enjoy some cousin bonding time.

Apart from Prince William making it clear he plans to stay far away from Sandringham when the Sussex duo visit, King Charles is reportedly not letting them have a free run of the court either.

Per a source speaking to Daily Mail’s Alison Boshoff, “Charles has let him know that he is really looking forward to seeing his grandchildren.

Harry is looking forward to the visit, and to building bridges. That is what everyone wants. It was decided months ago that he would be coming with the children and with Meghan as well.”

Per this ‘friend of Harry,’ the conversations started in January, with King Charles agreeing to the idea of a summer stay at the impressive royal estate.

However, there was a clause to this agreement, and it regards to Harry knowing to keep intimate parts of the visit under wraps.

“The view was that he would have to ensure that all of the family part of the visit remained private. He agreed to that in a heartbeat. The way he has conducted himself since then has led to confidence in this version of Harry. He has changed a lot [since Megxit.] He has grown up.”

However, in light of new developments, which includes Harry losing his bid for taxpayer-funded security, it’s been speculated that he may pull the plug at the eleventh hour and make his UK travel a solo one.

Well, can’t say I know of anyone particularly interested in mourning this outcome.
