Each year, the royal family gathers at their country home, Sandringham. And last month, King Charles finalized his guest list. But despite Harry and Meghan alerting the media that they wanted invitations, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will need to focus on filling their children’s stockings in their California mansion this year.

Meanwhile, per the royal family rule of silence, the topic of Omid Scobie’s book naming Kate Middleton and King Charles as the so-called royal racists will not feature in dinner table conversation. But insiders shared that Charles feels furious about the situation. And he blames Meghan for the leak.

As a result, Prince William and Prince Harry’s feud intensified this year. And insiders believe that if Charles had invited Meghan and Harry for Christmas, William and Kate would not have joined the family. However, with the Sussex couple in California, William and Kate will attend. And their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis will participate as well.

Royal Christmas Sees Surprising Change

Per tradition, the royal family will go on their annual walk to the local church. However, in a surprising change, both of Queen Camilla’s children, Tom Parker Bowles and Laura Lopes, and her five grandchildren received invitations to the holiday festivities. And King Charles also sent an invitation to Camilla’s sister, the interior designer Annabel Elliot.

But the royal Christmas will also include Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson. And King Charles sent invitations to their daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie and their families. Princess Anne, her children, their spouses, and their kids also will attend.

As a result, the extravagant luncheon will take place in the ballroom of Sandringham House. And the meals for Christmas Day will follow a very specific tradition.

But at 3 p,m., King Charles’ speech will dominate the BBC broadcast. He penned the speech, seeking to personalize it this year. And after Christmas, Charles will follow the tradition of a Boxing Day shoot. He and Camilla will then go to Scotland for the New Year.
