Reports reveal that the Duke of York has re-entered the Royal inner circle despite the controversy over his relationship and link to sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and his Royal Lodge war with the monarch. More details on this story, are below.
Prince Andrew Attended Church Services With Other Royal Family Members
The Mirror is reporting that Prince Andrew attended a church service in Balmoral, Scotland. Prince William was by his side, along with his wife, Kate Middleton.
According to the article this appearance in public was viewed as a huge gesture of support from the Prince and Princess, who also happen to be the future King and Queen of England.
In addition, the Prince of Wales drove his uncle to the service, and it was clear through this appearance that Andrew would no longer be shut out of Royal Family events.
This was an interesting move since William was reportedly against Prince Andrew re-entering the family fold.
One source stated that while William may have been okay with attending private functions with his uncle, like Christmas in Sandringham, he did not want to be seen in public with Andrew – with the Queen’s funeral and King Charles’ Coronation an exception.
King Charles Puts His Foot Down
A palace insider has reported that it looks as if Prince William’s “wings” have been somewhat clipped.
Sources close to the Royal Family allege that King Charles has instructed senior royals to include Andrew in family events despite all the scandals his brother has been involved in the past.
An insider noted that it was uncertain how Andrew would arrive at church services until it was suggested that the Prince and Princess of Wales drive him. After William and Kate publicly supported Andrew, the Duke of York’s reaction was positive, stating, ‘It was more than he could’ve ever wished for.’
