King Charles has received disappointing news once again. But this time it has to do with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s two children, Archie and Lilibet. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

King Charles Receives Disappointing News Once Again

There’s a new report that suggests the King of England was hopeful that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would bring their two children to the UK to celebrate the holiday season with the royal family this year.

Sadly, it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen. That’s because Meghan herself has made it clear that she doesn’t want to step foot on UK soil if she doesn’t have to. And if she doesn’t travel to the UK, then that means her kids certainly aren’t going to be there, either.

For King Charles, this is very disappointing as he was hoping to spend at least one Christmas with his two grandchildren from America. But it’s Meghan who keeps stopping it from happening.

One source close to the situation even put it this way, “This could be their last Christmas at home, so they will spend it together this year to make it extra special. Meghan’s mum Doria will join them at home in Montecito and they’ll ensure the children have a joyful day, despite not being around extended family.”

What’s Next For King Charles?

“Harry and Meghan agree that they shouldn’t return to the UK until the security arrangements are resolved.”

The insider also said, “The King is absolutely committed to being present in all of his grandchildren’s lives. He values family above everything and whatever the course of his ­relationship with his son he would never be content with just seeing his grandchildren on the odd video call.”

So far Buckingham Palace has made no comments about the matter just yet although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said.
