Harry and Meghan really turned up the flame on the Royal Family when they appeared on Netflix’s documentary and launched even more accusations at the institution.
When Harry claimed that his brother spoon-fed the press negative stories about him and wife Meghan, he failed to back it up with any factual evidence. In Scobie’s book, Harry was called “that fool” by his father after the controversial revelations.
“Endgame” Divulges King’s Reaction To Prince Harry Signing A $100 Million Deal To Trash His Family
Writing in “Endgame,” Scobie shared that the King “went from not wanting anyone to talk about his son to openly criticizing “that fool.”
“At the Palace, heads were in hands and migraines were brewing. “(The show) took the wind out of everyone’s sails,” one aide reportedly said. “(He) went from not wanting anyone to talk about his son to openly criticizing ‘that fool.’ ”The book also claims that Prince William and Princess Kate watched the South Park episode that mocked Harry and Meghan and thought it was “hilarious.”
In the episode, dubbed the Worldwide Privacy Tour, caricature Harry and Meghan are shown going around and claiming that they want privacy in a loud and embarrassing way.
Another thing the book claimed was that the King and his heir were at loggerheads: a thing that was frequently speculated by fans since William’s popularity far outshines the King’s.
However, a royal author disputed these claims, saying that the King shares a tight bond with his eldest son.
Author Phil Dampier said: “It’s totally rubbish to suggest William and the King would ever be at loggerheads. They’ve grown incredibly close and there is no way in which William would do anything to undermine him.”
Royal fans are already saying that Meghan and Harry are involved in the writing of the book, though their spokesperson has denied the possibility.
