British royal family news divulges that King Charles is now looking at alternate cancer treatments amid his ongoing battle with cancer.
Buckingham Palace sources spill that the monarch has tried medical cannabis as a complementary treatment to chemotherapy. According to GeoTV, research suggests that the plant may destroy cancer cells and provide pain relief.
King Charles’ Alt Med Treatments
A palace aide told Radar Online that the regent is willing to try a plethora of potential cures: “The cancer diagnosis has rocked him to the core and he feels there’s no harm in trying something experimental.”
The king supports homeopathic medicines “and sees there is no danger in trying the cannabis route. He’s read all the studies around its benefits and is giving it a go.”
On a down note the aide added that the monarch “wants to make it until at least his 77th birthday – but knows he may not as he is now in so much pain.”
Will King Charles Make it to His 77th Birthday?
Singer Bob Marley was renowned for his belief in the medicinal properties of marijuana and the dead legend is on the king’s playlist which he displayed in his recent show for Apple music, titled The King’s Music Room. On the playlist is Marley’s song, Could You Be Loved.
King Charles shared his cancer diagnosis with the world in January 2024 and has been in treatment since. Ironically, his second son, Prince Harry is now embroiled in a controversy regarding his illicit drug use.
Will Harry Be Deported?
Harry the Duke of Sussex lost a lawsuit that hinges on whether he lied about his drug habit on his US visa application. The redacted documents are supposed to be released to the public on March 18.
Royal expert Jennie Bond told Mirror: “It will probably make him feel that wherever he goes in the world, someone will have it in for him. Quite honestly, if drug taking precluded anyone from living in the States, half of LA would be deported. How many people answer those visa questions totally truthfully? And what does it really matter?”
She went to say that “We know Harry has taken drugs. He has said so.” Indeed he has, in his memoir Spare, and in numerous interviews since arriving in the US in 2020.
Tell us royal fans, do you agree with Bond that it doesn’t “matter” if Harry or anyone else breaks the law?
