Maybe he’s now beginning to realize that he could have made a better effort. There’s a new report that suggests King Charles is looking to do a little damage control after he and his wife Queen Camilla visited America back in April.

In other words, the King of England might now be realizing that it was a mistake not to visit Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and their two children while they were on the other side of the pond. Instead, they just visited with President Trump in Washington, D.C.

There’s speculation that because of this, King Charles is now trying to correct things by inviting the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to visit with him in the UK this summer.

Harry and Meghan are bringing their two children, Archie and Lilibet, to the UK in July. It will be their first family visit in over four years.

But here’s the thing: whether or not Harry and Meghan do visit King Charles and other members of the royal family during their visit remains to be seen.

Because after all, Meghan herself has made it clear that she never wants to step foot in a palace ever again if and especially if she doesn’t have to.

That said, King Charles knows that he doesn’t have much time on his side right now, and especially with his ongoing cancer battle.

Sure, he could have made an additional flight to California while he was in America, but something or maybe even someone must have stopped him at the time.

And while there’s certainly no turning back with that one, King Charles is hoping that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will find it in their hearts to do the right thing and allow him some time with his precious grandchildren. After all, this might be the only chance that he gets.

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter just yet. Watch this space as we have a feeling there is so much more to come.
