King Charles Wants To Focus On Being An Eco-Royal

He’s got his mind on the environment and the environment on his mind. There’s a new report that says King Charles wants to be known as much of an eco-conscious leader of the monarchy.

But for anyone who has been paying attention these last several years, they already know that the King of England has always been a very environmentally-friendly royal who has often expressed just how important it is to take care of the one world that we live in. Royal Family News – King Charles Wants To Focus On Being An Eco-Royal

According to the Daily Beast, King Charles’ Christmas message – which will be his second one in a row as the new King of England – focuses on living  sustainably and the environment.

In other words, King Charles wants people to pay attention to what they are buying and throwing out and of course, how much impact their carbon footprint has on the environment.

What’s more, King Charles filmed his address in front of a real Christmas Tree. The Mail on Sunday says that it has “potted with its roots intact rather than one which has been cut down. And all its decorations are environmentally friendly, too, crafted from plants or made from recyclable material.”

During his opening address at the COP28 earlier this year, King Charles said, “I pray with all my heart that COP28 will be another critical turning point towards genuine transformational action. We are seeing alarming tipping points being reached.”

 He added, “Unless we rapidly repair and restore nature’s unique economy, based on harmony and balance, which is our ultimate sustainer, our own economy and survivability will be imperiled.”

One royal aide said that while the king will certainly talk a lot about the environment, King Charles will also address broader themes in his Christmas speech, too. One thing he won’t talk about though is Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
