King Charles Wants To See His Grandkids But Not Meghan Markle

Can he have one but not the other? Of course, we are talking about King Charles as there’s a new report that says he wants to see his American grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet.

But if there’s one person who he’d rather not come into contact with, it’s Prince Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle. That is certainly going to be hard to do.

King Charles Wants To See His Grandkids But Not Meghan Markle

According to Us Weekly, one source close to the situation even put it this way, “This puts Meghan in a rather awkward position, since I really don’t think she is eager to return to what she sees as a somewhat hostile environment.”

The insider added, “If Harry and Meghan do return to London with Archie and Lilibet, it will be so the children can begin to forge some sort of real relationship with their grandfather, the king.”

“Charles is a huge softy when it comes to his grandkids, so I’m sure they’d be welcomed with open arms.”

If that weren’t enough, the source also said, “But that doesn’t mean that Harry will ever be fully embraced by the royal family and allowed to return to some sort of semi-official role. That ship has sailed — and that goes double for Meghan.”

In other words, King Charles is willing to do whatever it takes to see Archie and Lilibet before it’s too late. But at the same time, he wants to keep his daughter-in-law at arm’s length.

Royal Family News: Meghan Markle Doesn’t Want To Step On British Soil Again

As long as Meghan Markle doesn’t enter the same room as everyone else, everything should be fine. But knowing how Meghan operates, it’s very unlikely that will happen. After all, these are her children and the royal family we are talking about. She’s not going to want them out of her sight.

Plus, it’s doubtful that Meghan will even allow Archie and Lilibet to travel to the UK without her. And as of right now, she’s made it clear that she wants nothing to do with the UK and that she certainly doesn’t want to step on British soil again.

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter, although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said. Watch this space for more.
