Is a Royal Rumble brewing? The King of Netherlands got busted this weekend throwing some shade at Prince William’s sick wife Kate Middleton. King Willem-Alexander’s comments about the UK Royals raised a few eyebrows. Here’s what he had to say!

Have you heard the old adage about kicking a horse while it’s down?  Apparently that rule doesn’t apply to the Dutch monarchy. 

Despite all of the drama and turmoil surrounding Kate Middleton and “KateGate,” the King of Netherlands didn’t give the British Royals a free pass, and made some hilarious comments about his photo being photoshopped at a public outing.

The King Of Netherlands Cracks Kate Jokes

Here’s what happened, according to Vanity Fair, “As the 56-year-old king greeted a crowd of children wearing paper crowns, one youngster could be heard making a comment about “a photo with your whole family” to which Willem-Alexander laughingly replied, according to Dutch royal correspondent Rick Evers’s translation to English, “Really? That was not Photoshopped, apparently!”

You have to admit, the King of Netherlands’ obvious shade towards the British Royals was definitely inappropriate and low-key hilarious.

In King Willem-Alexander’s defense, the world is obsessed with the British monarchy, even the people of the Netherlands. If he doesn’t photoshop his photos, why should Kate Middleton be allowed to?

No one from Buckingham Palace acknowledged the King of Netherlands’ comments. But, that’s not surprising considering they don’t acknowledge anyone’s comments or respond to them.  But, if a mysterious European war erupts, we will all know why.

Meanwhile, Kate Gate continues to escalate. Multiple sources claimed they seen her over the weekend at a farm with Prince William. 

Ironically, nobody snapped a photo of the couple. So, it’s anyone’s guess if Kate Middleton was really there as rumors continue to spiral out of control claiming Prince William’s wife is “missing.”
