Madonna Offers Her NYC Pad To Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Calls Canada ‘Boring’

While it doesn’t seem as though Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have a lot of people they can count on back in London, they sure are making a lot of new friends on the other side of the pond. Even though the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are currently settling down in Vancouver, superstar Madonna has offered the couple her New York City apartment for rent. Here’s what you need to know.

When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced that they were going to step down from their senior roles within the royal family, they hinted that they were also looking to spend half the year in London while spending the other half in North America.

However, Queen Elizabeth made it clear in their ‘Mexgit’ deal that they can’t have one foot in the door and the other foot out. That’s why they are now looking to start a new life in Vancouver and possibly in Los Angeles as well, while no longer representing the Queen in any future royal engagements or public appearances.

With that said, it appears as though everyone is trying to get on the royal couple’s good side. The pop star posted a video on Instagram early Tuesday captioned, “Do Megan and Prince Harry want to sublet my apartment on Central Park West??”

If that weren’t enough, the pop star also insulted Harry’s new home country. “Hey, Harry — don’t run off to Canada. It’s boring there,” she explains. “I’ll let them sublet my apartment on Central Park West.” She then gave the couple a half-serious pitch on why they should live in her pad: “It’s two-bedroom, it’s got the best view of Manhattan. Incredible balcony … No, Buckingham Palace has got nothing on CPW.”

So far Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not made any comment about Madonna’s offer, but it’s doubtful that anything will be said at this point. Many fans have pointed out that just like Prince Harry, Madonna packed her bags and moved from London after her love affair with all things British died down, too. Now, whether or not Prince Harry and Meghan Markle even want Madonna in their inner circle remains to be seen, too.
