Mere months after settling in the U.S., the couple landed multi-million dollar deals with Netflix and Spotify.

The lucrative deal means that the couple will be taxed with filming documentaries, making audio content, as well as coming up with audiovisual contents, including children’s animation, educational videos and more.

In June 2021, Meghan Markle released her very first children‘s book titled “The Bench”, which was inspired by watching Harry and son Archie, 2, play on a bench she bought Prince Harry on father’s day the previous year. The book went on to top New York Times bestsellers for children’s picture books category.

As part of the Sussexes’ deal with Netflix, Meghan announced that she will be producing and writing an animated series, “Pearl”. The series will follow a young girl who finds inspiration from influential women throughout history.

Meghan, along with Harry, partnered with Global Citizen to campaign for global vaccine reach and equity. Later on, the pair would attend a U.N. function in New York in order to campaign for vaccine reach.

Apart from appearing on the shocking interview with Oprah Winfrey, Meghan has also appeared on the famous comedy show hosted by Ellen DeGeneres and other small talk-shows, including lending her voice to an audio content she and Harry produced for Spotify on December 2020.

Currently, she’s working on audio content for Spotify that will reportedly focus on the gender bias in society. Famous guests will also be featured in each episode.

There are even some that predict that she may be looking forward to dipping her toes into politics, after she “cold called” senators to push for equal leave for all.

There has been no further updates on “Pearl”.

Prince Harry Is In A “Stronger Position” Than Meghan Markle

Royal biographer Tina Brown said that she believes Harry is in a stronger place than his wife because of his brainchild, the Invictus Games.

Speaking to the Washington Post, The “Palace Papers” writer said: “Harry is in a much better spot because he brilliantly started this Invictus Games and that’s what his brand should be.

“He should just forget everything but the Invictus Games and just make that his brand.

The biographer added: “It’s authentic, he really was extremely as a shoulder, Veterans are in his bloodstream in terms of authentic caring about them and it’s wonderfully connective cause to be aligned to.

“Meghan doesn’t really have a brand. You feel that she is sort of grasping somewhat at whatever Twitter is caring about at the moment.

“It’s vaccinations, it’s Ukraine, it’s women’s rights, it’s my 40th birthday let’s have a mentoring scheme.

“Nothing is really going anywhere for Meghan.”
