British royal family news reveals that Meghan Markle’s American Riviera Orchard is her 49th rebrand attempt. ARO–or as some have taken to calling it, Another Rip Off—is a shell company from which she one day plans to sell a little of this (utensils), a little of that (dog bones). Maybe.
In March she announced “By Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex. Established 2024″ on the bio page of ARO’s official Instagram account. She went all out on her rollout of her digital storefront which includes a squiggly logo that resembles a cockroach.

A month later the Douchess of Sussex sent out 50 jars of “homemade” jam to celebs and influencers with the goal of having them do the advertising for her.
Around 10 recipients admitted to being on Meghan’s friend list, including momager Kris Jenner and teen bullier Chrissy Teigen.
“We jammin!!” Teigen wrote about the preserves in an Instagram post on April 24. “This might have been one of the best bites we’ve had all year — all we used is some rustic bread, salted butter, triple cream brie, thick cut bacon and some @americanrivieraorchard jam! took about 8 mins total and made us happy for the entire weekend.” One jar of jam feeds your family of six for an entire weekend, really, Chrissy? Have you heard of malnutrition?
Meghan’s Another Rip Off Brand
Meghan allegedly plans on becoming the next Martha Stewart, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Ina Garten all rolled into one lumpy domestic bliss ball.
But there’s a reason why Meghan is known as Princess Pinocchio and her jamscam is the latest example. Would you believe that some people think Meghan copied her business plan from Chip and Joanna Gaines’ Magnolia brand?
Meghan Plans To BE Bigger Than Goop
Sources told Page Six that Meghan Markle intends to stand the lifestyle industry on its ear and show the A-listers how it’s done.
According to the insider, “I think Meghan will take on and play them at their own game.” She has no accomplishments to her name, other than marrying a despicable prince so this should be interesting. Did we mention her store shelves are empty and there’s nothing to buy even if you wanted to?
Meghan filed documents with the United States Patent and Trademark Office website that show she intends to peddle a veritable variety store: tableware, cutlery, cookbooks, coffee services, table linens, gift wrap, jam, and dog biscuits.
Royal Family News – Will Meghan Finally Succeed at Something?
Business consultant Rachel Richardson isn’t sure that Meghan can succeed as Chip and Joanna Gaines have because “Authenticity is key in the lifestyle arena and those that succeed tend to be willing to share their whole lives … to pull off a successful lifestyle show she’ll have to be prepared to swing the door all the way open.”
That could be a problem since Meghan films all of her ventures at a nearby rental house. If Meghan isn’t real enough to cook in her own kitchen, how is she going to show her authentic self—if she can find one that is.
