These two hipsters were directed to cease and desist when it came to using their royal titles following the spectacular royal divorce known as Megxit. This entails forgoing the use of their Sussex Royal website which is associated with their brand, Sussex Royal.
Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Must Stop Using Their Royal Titles
But wouldn’t you know it, in typically passive-aggressive fashion, they have yet to shut down the site. What’s that you say, they have more important things to do like complain to the LAPD about their neighbors disturbing their peace and freeloading off their latest host Tyler Perry?
Well, yes all of that appears to be true but they agreed to the terms with the queen, and they wouldn’t go back on their word, would they?
Sussex Royal The Brand Was Launched In 2019
Per Megxit, the two unemployed but financially independent renegades said they would stop using their royal titles, which meant dumping the use of the name Sussex Royal.
But wouldn’t you know, Meghan has built up Sussex Royal to more than 11 million followers on Instagram so they would seem to be on the horns of a dilemma—which way to go, money or family? Well, we all know the answer to that conundrum!
Meghan Have Used Sussex Royal For Their Charitable Foundation
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex said bye-bye to their loyal Instagram followers at the end of March, at the same time that Megxit took effect. But in a naughty move, they have not stopped using their Sussex Royal website leading many to conclude that this is a direct violation of their agreement with the queen.
Meghan And Harry Continue To Use Sussex Royal
That’s right, Sussex Royal is still an active website. In fact, the unroyal pair used the website to announce to the world what comes next.
“As The Duke and Duchess will no longer be considered full-time working Members of The Royal Family, it was agreed that use of the word ‘Royal’ would need to be reviewed as it pertains to organizations associated with them in this new regard,” according to their website.
Then, like petulant children they poked the bear by saying, the monarchy can’t stop them from using the word “royal” because that is not in their “jurisdiction.” Neener, neener Queen!
Next, as if to smooth things over, they said they won’t use the word “royal” out of respect to Queen Elizabeth.
Wow, just wow. If this is how they acted at the dinner table, the queen is probably glad they’re not her problem anymore.
These two need to grow up and set a good example for their son.
