The Cali couple who require that one calls them the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are now beneath Prince Edward and Sophie Wessex, as well as Princess Royal and the Duke of York on the official royal site.
What a comedown; Prince Andrew the Duke of York has been wiped off the rest of the digital landscape due to his alleged relationship with a pedophile. And yet he ranks above the Markle’s.
Harry And Meghan Are Sent To The Corner
Charles the Prince of Wales’ role as the heir next to ascend the throne is duly noted. He has been promoted to the top of the Royal Family section with Queen Elizabeth featured higher on the page. Perhaps as a bone is thrown to them, the website claims that Harry and Meghan will be, “balancing their time,” between the UK and the US. So far that is complete fiction, but anything can happen.
The Markle’s Have Been Demoted
Underneath the Duke and Duchess of Sussex is the caption: “They are continuing to honour their duty to The Queen, the Commonwealth, and their patronages.”
The Princess Royal was moved up five places to sit below the Duchess of Cambridge on the website page and the Prince and Princess Michael of Kent were added to the bottom, just beneath the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester. Prince Michael was recently in the headlines in the alleged cash for influence scheme.
Prince Edward Has Moved Up
Following the website change, Prince Edward and his wife Sophie the Countess of Wessex had their first major interview since their marriage in 1999.
In it, they took the time to address Harry and Meghan’s attempted destruction of the monarchy. When asked about Harry and Meghan’s jaw-dropping dirty laundry Oprah interview they graciously claimed that the royals are a family, “no matter what happens.”
Sophie has been called the queen’s favorite daughter in law and she is said to be one of a select few women in the Queen’s inner circle. The queen will need all the support she can get following the death of her beloved husband of 73 years, Prince Philip, who died on April 9, aged 99.
Meanwhile, the queen will celebrate her Platinum Jubilee next year. The event marks her 70th year on the throne and she is the world’s longest-reigning monarch.
