Meghan Markle and Prince Harry recently surprised their followers by deciding to travel to the UK. But the couple made the decision out of a desire to honor Queen Elizabeth at her Platinum Jubilee. However, the Duchess of Sussex and Duke of Sussex then learned they got banned from standing on the balcony.

And in the case of who banned Meghan Markle and Prince Harry from the balcony, some see the Duchess and Duke of the Sussex in the victim role. That means the villain (also known as the Balcony Banishment Baddie) needs a detective to solve the crime. But per OK, an insider just played that role of detective. 

First, some background. The balcony brouhaha began when Meghan and Harry announced their decision to travel to Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee. However, the Palace then revealed that the parents of Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 11-months-old, could not stand on the balcony for the Trooping of the Color Parade. That ban got linked to the couple’s exit as working royal family members.

But the Palace statement also claimed the Queen herself had made the decision. Wrong, shared the source. And that insider outed Prince Charles and Prince William as the bad guys! Charles and William agreed that “the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have caused nothing but chaos since moving to America with their endless tell-alls and interviews throwing shade at the royal family,” claimed the insider. “They think it would be hypocritical of Harry and Meghan acting all smiles and waving to the crowds from the balcony like they’re one big happy family.”

Queen Elizabeth felt open to welcoming Meghan and Harry to join her on the balcony, shared the source. But William and Charles recently got angry at Harry over an interview. In his discussion, Harry claimed that he protected the Queen with selected individuals around her. And Charles and William viewed that comment as throwing shade.

However, Harry hopes that he can somehow orchestrate a wonderful family reunion. But Meghan does not feel so optimistic. And Markle feels so upset with the royal family that she might even cancel her appearance, claimed the insider.

“She might even pull out at the last minute,” warned the source. But regardless of Meghan’s decision, two members of the royal family will keep their eyes on Markle and Harry. Royal family expert Tom Bower predicts William and Kate will watch the Duke and Duchess of Sussex carefully. “William will worry that Harry and Meghan will pull a stunt to try to get the limelight,” shared Bower. “Kate and William would be foolish not to be suspicious and would be unwise not to be cautious.”
