Find out why Meghan and Harry decided to take their feud with the royal family to the next level. And keep reading to learn how they managed to combine playing the victim with venting their anger dramatically.

Meghan Markle Goes For Drama In Fueling Royal Feud

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle went for all the drama they could find in fueling their feud with the royal family.

And the Duke and Duchess of Sussex played the victim role in denying allegations that they snubbed King Charles by rejecting an invitation to his 75th birthday celebration.

Instead, Meghan and Harry’s spokesperson via the Daily Beast declared that the palace made “no contact.” The statement came after a UK paper, the Sunday Times, claimed that Harry rejected an invite to Charles’ birthday.

And the paper quoted a friend of King Charles, declaring, “He’ll never not invite his son to a family gathering, because that’s not who he is.”

But Meghan and Harry told their official spokesperson to issue a statement denying they received an invitation. And they sought pity from readers in stating, “There has been no contact regarding an invitation to His Majesty’s upcoming birthday. It is disappointing the Sunday Times has misreported this story.”

Prince Harry Walks Back Promise To Avoid Mail Online

But the intriguing aspect concerns Harry and Meghan choosing the Mail Online to vent their anger. In 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex promised to never engage with that publication. However, now the couple has used it to whine about King Charles’ birthday.

And an insider also used the Mail Online to issue a statement about a birthday invite. Meghan and Harry “had not received any invitation.”

And the source claimed that the couple remained “unaware of any celebrations until the stories came out. I’m sure the Duke will find a way to reach out privately to wish His Majesty a happy birthday like he has always done,” said the source.

But the drama escalates with another source claiming the palace leaked the story. “The story is being positioned in a way to make it look like the Duke is snubbing his father. He is not. Considering the trip [to Kenya] didn’t go well, this might be a welcome distraction,” said the insider.

Meanwhile, Prince William headed to Singapore for the 2023 edition of his environmental prize, Earthshot. And he posed as he welcomed Cate Blanchett.

However, Charles also wants positive publicity. And he hoped for favorable headlines by opening a new legislative session of Parliament. As a result, the palace wants the spotlight on William and Charles rather than Harry and Meghan complaining.

The only one feeding this feud is the papers. The tabloids release a story that H&M snub the king. They have every right to release a statement that the invite was not extended to them. It is also understandable that they were not invited. They are all the way in the US. If they flew to the UK for a “Bday” party, they would be ridiculed for wasting fuel for a party. Just leave them alone. Let them live their lives. Haters will just hate.

The Sussex two are whiners. Much easier to be a victim than an accountable adult.
