Everyone knows that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle come under intense scrutiny each time they get in front of a camera. This week wasn’t any different as the talk about their latest outing took an inevitable nasty turn. Read on for more details.
The Sundance Film Festival
For some folks, the never-ending scrutiny of their public life becomes a bit wearisome. Just another day in the social media circus. On Tuesday, Neil Sean went on his YouTube channel, Daily News Headlines, to heavily criticize the duo for their Sundance Film Festival presence. Actually, the pair simply attended the premiere of Cookie Queens.
If you don’t know, the movie comes in a documentary format. Harry and Meghan helped produce it through Archewell Productions, in collaboration with Beautiful Stories and AJNA Films. At the festival, per Deadline, it was met with “a standing ovation” that lasted more than “two minutes.”
Nevertheless, Sean was of the opinion that Meghan Markle made it an attention-seeking event. “Nothing can ever just be plain sailing,” he opined to his followers.
Seeking The Cameras
Next, he claimed that Meghan’s always looking for “the drive, the drama,” so cameras focus on her. As usual, the royal commentator didn’t forget to bash Prince Harry, suggesting that he’s merely a tepid background figure in Meghan’s life.

Then again, there’s the issue of whether or not they should be called by their titles in the United States of America. And, he moved on to chat about the never-ending squabble about them. Make no mistake, the Sussex couple seems very fond of being the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, or Duchess Meghan.
In fact, Sean opined that they purposely use those formal names to keep up their “kudos” and remain in the game. Actually, that seemed a bit rough to some folks, especially when you think about the fact that they simply try making a life stateside.
Backstage Demands
Sean went on to reveal what he considered the “bombshell” revelation of the backstage demands. Apparently, the people there were instructed not to inquire about their daughter, Lilibet.
Well, as Sean noted, these days, Meghan Markle posts more about her daughter. But, he mocked her, ridiculing the concept of the kid being an “award-winning cinematographer.” He labeled the entire thing as “very much staged and fake.”
In the final analysis, the film was only a case in point as he aimed to depict them as being manipulative and needy. Sean closed with the couple “clutching at straws,” and claimed that the festival was “not exactly a sunny day out” for their image.
Well, quite how a day out to watch their film premiere became a the subject of ridicule seems a bit strange. But then, plenty of people talk about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry because they’re topical, and bad news sells.
Viewers Respond
Proving that some people never tire of bad news, many folks responded in the comment section. One of them opined, “She’s announced every time she enters a room? I don’t know who’s more pathetic, her or the people that still humor them.”
Here are a few more reactions from the discussion:
- As an American, the titles of those two living here are an absurdity. Living in America and demanding the royal treatment is rididculous.
- Megan seems to think she is a hollywood star who is universally popular , when nothing could be further than truth.
- If she had confidence in herself, she would not have to use the duchess title.
