Meghan Markle Beats Sister Samantha Markle In Court

While the Royal Family is falling apart in the UK right now, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have something to celebrate this week in sunny California. 

Sources say Meghan Markle won her court battle against her estranged sister Samantha Markle, and doesn’t have to cut her a check.  Keep reading for all the details, here’s what’s going on with the Markles this week!

It’s hard to keep track of all of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s court cases and lawsuits.  But, the Duchess of Sussex’s beef with her older sister Samantha Markle is what landed them in court this week in California. 

Reports say Meghan Markle was victorious and a judge ruled she did NOT have to pay her sister’s $75,000 defamation lawsuit.

Meghan Markle’s Shady Sister

Samantha Markle has been trying desperately to ride Meghan’s coattails since she married Prince Harry before the pandemic. 

Markle’s older sister actually tried to sue her for defamation, which is ironic if you have heard everything Samantha has said about Meghan.

Regardless, this week Samantha’s claims were dismissed without prejudice.  Apparently, it’s not illegal to say you’re an only child because you don’t want to claim your sister.

Samantha Markles Gets Shut Down

Per People Magazine, “The judge concluded that Samantha’s claims based on Finding Freedom would be “dismissed with prejudice” and that she would be “allowed one final opportunity to replead her claims” related to the Winfrey interview “for injurious falsehood.”

Judge Honeywell also stated, “As a reasonable listener would understand it, [the] Defendant merely expresses an opinion about her childhood and her relationship with her half-siblings.

Thus, the Court finds that Defendant’s statement is not objectively verifiable or subject to empirical proof,”

Meghan Markle doesn’t have a whole lot of fans, but Samantha Markle has even less.  It’s hard to even pick a side.  Are you Team Meghan or Team Samantha?
