It looks like she would rather place the blame on someone or something else than downgrade her lifestyle. Clearly, we are talking about Meghan Markle as there’s strong speculation suggesting that she’s blaming the economy for her financial woes.

For the Duchess of Sussex, 2025 did not start off with a bang at all as she had gotten heavily criticized for her Netflix lifestyle show, With Love, Meghan.

That’s because a lot of people believed that Meghan is still stuck in her ‘Pinterest’ era thinking that people have both the time and luxury to prepare for the kind of backyard parties that only look good on social media when in reality many families are having a hard time making ends meet.

Not only that, but a separate report also suggested that both Meghan and Prince Harry have been forced to downsize behind the scenes. They are down to just two staff members in a desperate bid to save some cash.

To add to her problems, Meghan has also had a hard time selling items from her lifestyle brand as well. That’s because there’s been very little demand for her expensive jams, decorative flowers and wine. Simply put, no one is interested in what she has to sell and it shows.

And while it might seem like the sky is falling for the Duchess of Sussex, it seems like she’s refusing to look at things realistically. She could easily downsize her lifestyle and even her family home, but that’s the last thing Meghan is willing to do at the moment.

That’s because she doesn’t want to look like a failure. She doesn’t want to take the blame. Instead, she wants to make it look like it was all bad timing and that if it weren’t for the weak state of the economy right now, her lifestyle brand would be doing much better.
