Meghan Markle Can Choose To Make A Grand Return To ‘Suits’ Under Any Circumstances

The door is always open for Meghan Markle, aka the Duchess of Sussex, to reprise her role as paralegal Rachel Zane in ‘Suits.’ The former American actress thrived in the role from 2011 to the day she was written out in 2018 to marry British Prince Harry.

The jury is already in and many have chosen to hold the new ‘Suits’ show in contempt. Rolling Stone declared that ‘Suits: LA’ “is 3000 miles and lightyears away from the original.”

To spice it up, some OG stars may have to start dropping in from time to time. Yes, I know Gabriel Macht’s Harvey has already made his grand appearance in what is said to be a 3-episode crossover, but wouldn’t it be even more shocking if Meghan Markle made her return to acting in one of her most popular TV shows?

In an interview with PEOPLE, creator Aaron Korsh willingly offered an open invitation. If she ever wants to step foot in Rachel Zane’s shoes ever again, all she has to do is ask.

“We have thought about whether it be Meghan or any of the other cast members coming on and playing themselves as an actor,” the creator of ‘Suits’ and its spinoff said at the “Suits LA” premiere Thursday.

“I think, for me, that’s a little … my brain blows up at the thought of that. Obviously, if Meghan wants to come back under any circumstances, Meghan can come back.”

While he holds out hope enough to leave the door open for a Rachel return, he knows it’s only going to happen by a long shot. He said: “Of course [she can come back]. Always. But I think, realistically, it would be too much of an explosion of the fourth wall to do that.”

Since exiting the series to marry Harry, Meghan has separately reunited with some of her castmates – some of them even receiving invitations to her high profile wedding to Harry.

However, due to “preexisting commitment,” she wasn’t able to join cast members Gabriel Macht, Patrick J. Adams, Sarah Rafferty and Gina Torres when they presented the best television, drama category at the Golden Globes last year.

At the moment, Meghan is looking forward to the launch of her Netflix show ‘With Love, Meghan’ and her lifestyle brand, As Ever.
