Meghan Markle and Prince Harry recently shared trailers for their Netflix show. And those teasers reveal a story shaped by Meghan. For instance, the video makes it clear that Markle sees herself as going from superstar to supreme victim.
Find out how the Duchess of Sussex used her Netflix trailers to portray herself as a victim. And discover how her husband supports his wife’s narrative. Get all the details below.
Meghan Markle – From Superstar To Victim In Netflix Teaser
The Duchess of Sussex knows how to shape a story. And her Netflix teaser displays Meghan’s skills. For instance, the trailers show how Markle started out her royal romance with Harry as a royal superstar, noted People.
And Meghan, 41, appears in her engagement announcement with Harry, 38. But the emphasis at the start of their royal romance shows her rise to fame. For instance, a reporter in the teaser declares Markle a “royal rock star!”
But then came the changes, as documented by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. And in their Netflix series, Harry & Meghan, the two serve up an extra dose of drama mixed with romance as they show the changes. But leave it to Markle to snap her fingers to cue in Harry.
“And then,” says the Duchess of Sussex dramatically as she snaps her fingers. Harry then finishes her sentence. “Everything changed.” And the two go on to display how Markle allegedly became a victim of both the media and the royal family.

But although the Netflix show claims to tell the “full truth,” someone (or a group of individuals) edited it carefully. And the so-called documentary resembles a reality TV show more than a serious documentary. For instance, editors display a photo of the royal family on the Buckingham Palace balcony. And per the royal rules, Meghan and Harry stand in the second row.
That arrangement ,with the the Duke and Duchess of Sussex split from Prince William, Kate Middleton and their kids, shows the “hierarchy of the family,” said Prince Harry. And he complained about stories “leaking” without naming names. “But there’s also planting of stories,” said the Duke of Sussex.

And Meghan herself appears in a video. As Markle cries, a commentator announces dramatically, “There was a war against Meghan to suit other people’s agendas.” The video then shows Harry putting his face in his hands.
But the Duke of Sussex serves up his own dose of drama. And he called all the media attention “a dirty game.” But Prince Harry then compared Meghan’s challenges to how his mother Princess Diana fared. And he slammed “the pain and suffering of women marrying into this institution.” As a result of the constant spotlight, Harry blasted the media’s “feeding frenzy. I was terrified. I didn’t want history to repeat itself,” added the Duke of Sussex about his wife.
