Well, color us surprised with this one. There’s a new report that suggests Meghan Markle had plans to film her Netflix cooking show on a cannabis farm in California. But apparently, that was just a rumor. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

Earlier in the week there was heavy speculation suggesting Meghan Markle was filming her cooking show on a cannabis farm in California.

Well, it seems like that’s not the case at all. While the Duchess of Sussex is expected to film her cooking show for Netflix, there’s a good chance that she will do it in a rented mansion in her hometown of Montecito instead.

Yet one rumor suggested Meghan was going to film her show on a farm owned by the cannabis-supplying Van Wingerden family in Carpinteria.

One source close to the situation even put it this way, “The show is not filmed on or near any cannabis farm,” while also adding, “anything that suggests otherwise is made up fodder.”

Of course, the internet sure did have a lot to say about the matter.

Some critics commented with, “It’s going to be interesting to see how Markle reacts when she’s reached the end of the road and finally has to face the fact that she’s failed at everything and has no further options.
