As many royal fans already know, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Harry’s new wife have been getting along pretty well lately. As a matter of fact, Queen Elizabeth reportedly appreciates Meghan and her eagerness to learn everything there is to know about royal life.
Well, it looks like the former Hollywood actress is also picking up some tips from her husband’s grandmother, too. She has learned a clever travel hack that might prove to be useful when she and Harry visit Australia, New Zealand, Tonga and Fiji later this year.
According to reports, the Queen always wears gloves when traveling, as a way to prevent catching any illnesses. This makes sense, especially since the royals often have to shake hands. But if Meghan decides to wear gloves, this can help prevent the spread of any germs and bacteria. And it seems like Meghan is already a huge fan of gloves, as she’s been seen wearing them in public on numerous occasions.
Expert Richard Fitzwilliams explained, in relation to the Queen’s fondness for gloves: “Given the need to shake hands so often, they are useful as protection and to stop the spread of infections.”
