Meghan Markle Could Return As A Royal If She Follows These Rules

Leaving the Royal Family entirely hadn’t been what Prince Harry and Meghan Markle planned to do when they announced their plans to step down as senior working royals three years ago.

However, they quickly learned that they could not broker a half-in half-out deal. But, despite the friction that’s existed between them and the royals since they sat down on Oprah and told disturbing things, experts are saying that a reconciliation is in the works.

We’ve already heard that Harry means to also spend time in the UK with his family, but could that time see him and his wife attempt to do some work on behalf of the Royal Family? Royal biographer Tom Quinn has some thoughts.

One of the things Meghan Markle claimed during their Oprah sit-down was that she wasn’t allowed to be a part of discussions regarding her and Harry’s part in the monarchy.

However, three years later, it’s starting to seem as if the exiled royals are looking back with some regrets. Could they have left and made it work out enough that they could still do job on behalf of the Royals from time to time? Most importantly, can they return?

“I think it’s possible that Meghan could return but I think she would physically have to live in England and she would have to, very quietly, start to do the things that the royal family does best,” Quinn told the Daily Express.

“I don’t think she could come back if she wants an apology or if she wants the royal family to completely change. They just can’t do it, I just don’t think they will.”

Following their 2018 wedding, Harry and Meghan stayed two years with the Royal Family before shocking the world with the announcement that they plan to step back.

At the time, even though some friction was suspected between the Sussexes and the rest of the Royal Family, no one could say for sure.

This all changed in 2021 when Harry and Meghan sat down with Oprah Winfrey and accused the Royal Family of negligence and racism.

Later on, Harry would go on to accuse them of “generational pain” and leaking negative stories about him and his family to save their own reputation.
