It has been a couple of years since there was a royal wedding when Prince Harry wed Suits actress, Meghan Markle. However, excitement is once again in the air at the thought of yet another royal wedding. However, according to a royal expert, this could be spoiled by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry arriving from Canada to attend Princess Beatrice’s wedding.
Meghan Markle to upstage Princess Beatrice?
Barely a day goes by without some snippet of news relating to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. On a recent edition of This Morning, a royal expert spoke up during a debate about the wedding. She said that Meghan Markle’s return from Canada to attend the wedding could overshadow the event and upstage the royal bride.
This Morning hosts Phillip Schofield, 57, and Holly Willoughby, 39, were discussing the latest news with royal commentator Camilla Tominey. They spoke about the fact that Meghan, 38 and Prince Harry, 35, had made the decision to spend their time between the UK and Canada while stepping down from royal duties and generally doing their own thing.

It was then that the conversation turned to the upcoming royal wedding. Tominey commented that the couple’s presence at Princess Beatrice’s wedding could take away attention from the bride. Princess Beatrice and her Italian fiancé Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are to wed on May 29 this year in the intimate and very small location of The Chapel Royal in St. James’ Palace.
Camilla said there were two things to look out for with the upcoming wedding. One, it was obvious that Prince Andrew was going to be there to walk his daughter down the aisle, following the recent bad media attention he has received. But she says there is another thing to be concerned about.
It was said that following the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s move to Canada, and due to the fact that Harry is Beatrice’s cousin, he and Meghan are likely to fly over to attend the ceremony. However, Tominey said the fact that Harry and Meghan were attending could overshadow the bride and the groom, totally taking away the Princess of York’s thunder.
