British royal family reveals that Meghan, Duchess of Markle-Sussex finally introduced her long delayed As Ever merch last Wednesday.
The interesting thing is that one of the biggest talking points came after Meghan insulted a guest. Here’s what to know if you must go on a Meghan production.
Meghan Insulted Mindy Kaling
Meghan Markle was accused of mistreating Mindy Kaling during filming of her also-delayed With Love, Meghan, Netflix cookery show.
For some reason Mindy thought it would be a good idea to do Meghan a favor by appearing on the show (with the lowest Rotten Tomatoes score ever), perfectly illustrating the adage, ‘no good deed goes unpunished.’
Meghan Chewed Out Mindy For Calling Her Markle
Kaling had the nerve to call Discount Duchess ‘Meghan Markle’ because, well, that’s her name, duh.
Oh no, Grifter wasn’t having it and tore into Kaling saying that she is to be called Meghan Sussex from now on. Mindy played her second banana role excellently and smiled away while being berated. This is what friends are for?
Keyboard warriors weren’t as forgiving with one posting “If Megan is so dense she doesn’t know her actual surname is Mountbatten Windsor, the same as Harry and the kids, that’s her problem.”
Another mocked her: “DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM , ????? LOLOLOL.”
It’s not the only thing of Meghan’s that smells. Her launch of As, ever raspberry spread (don’t call it jam!) didn’t go over well.
Meghan Markle Fans Disappointed
As an example, customers ordered “her £21.60 ($28) honey from her new As Ever lifestyle brand, only to be told they won’t be receiving the products.”
“Despite successfully placing orders for the coveted honey, some customers later received emails informing them that the product had already sold out due to overwhelming demand.” There’s a name for that …
The Duchess of Sussex later claimed that her product sold out, not that there simply wasn’t any for fans to purchase in the first place. Sure, Jan.
Meghan Sells Out In More Ways Than One
Fans could also not buy old, wrinkly, crinkly, flower bits and pieces at £11.60 ($15), to spread over anything cooks need to elevate.
The As Ever website boasts that the non-existent honey was “inspired by Meghan’s own appreciation for the art of harvesting this natural delight at her family home in Montecito.”
And if you buy that we’ve got some ocean front property in Arizona to sell you.
