Meghan Markle famously spent her last birthday with A-list pals at an expensive, exclusive resort, leaving hubby Prince Harry at home.

And the Duchess of Sussex managed to get multiple reports in the media, complete with photos, to publicize her celebration.

But now a new report just revealed the dramatic contrast in how Kate Middleton plans to spend her birthday this month.

No need to phone the paparazzi and press or A-list celebrities to prepare for Kate Middleton’s birthday. Because in contrast to Meghan Markle, Princess Kate likes to celebrate quietly and privately with family, per MSN.

And as the future queen prepares to turn 42 on Tuesday, she once again proves she’s a class act by planning time with her husband, Prince William, and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Kate likes to spend her birthday at their country home in Norfolk, Anmer Hall.

And the home represents a gift from Queen Elizabeth for Kate’s and William’s wedding. But it also is where the entire family of five feels at home. And because Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5, currently enjoy a school break, Kate can plan a celebration involving her children as well as her husband.

However, the Princess of Wales also often spends time ahead of her birthday with her parents, Carole and Michael Middleton. But William always comes through to plan a sweet, simple party for his wife. For instance, in 2021, Kate’s husband planned a birthday tea party with their children.

And an insider shared praise for Kate as a class act. “At the end of the day, she’s in training to be a future queen,” pointed out the source. “But honestly you would never know it. If you go round to her house, you get a cup of tea,” shared the insider. “And it’s often William who makes it! It’s a lovely, welcoming house, not a fancy, stuffy palace in any way.”

But in contrast to Kate, Meghan alerted the press and paparazzi to ensure that her birthday last year resulted in plenty of publicity. For instance, the Daily Mail reported that the Duchess of Sussex arranged for a group of A-list celebrity pals to go with her to watch the Barbie movie.

And then Meghan headed with her friends to visit the expensive, exclusive San Ysidro Ranch to celebrate her birthday. For instance, Portia de Rossi attended the event. Meanwhile, Prince Harry stayed at home.

However, Harry dutifully took his wife to a chic Italian restaurant on a date night. And magically, photographs and articles appeared to cover all the activities and do some name-dropping about the exclusive ranch and Harry’s choice of restaurant (Tre Lune in Montecito).
