2023 has been one of the most unproductive years for the Sussexes since they stepped down from their roles as senior members of the British Royal Family.
In fact, the year was particularly so dry for Meghan she made it onto The Hollywood Reporter’s list of 2023’s biggest losers.
As if that’s not enough, 2023 was also the year Meghan and her husband Harry went viral for being caricature characters in the animated series South Park and Family Guy.
And of course the fact that no brand was willing to work with Meghan Markle months after she signed with top Hollywood agency WME was a telling sign. However, there is one positive news amidst all these; Meghan hasn’t been dropped by WME like the rumors say.
WME Lists Meghan Markle As An “Exclusive” Client
Before we waved goodbye to 2023, there had already been rumors that WME is planning to drop Meghan Markle.
So it was a shock to fans to find out that the Duchess is not listed on WME’s new website. This led fans to speculate that they quietly dropped the former actress.
However, Meghan’s booking page is still active on The Harry Walker Agency website, which is a division of WME. She is listed as a “speaker” who champions “human rights and gender equity.”
The website’s bio on Meghan reads: “Her lifelong advocacy for women and girls remains a constant thread she weaves through both humanitarian and business ventures.
She is noted as one of the most powerful and influential women in the world, topping lists such as TIME Magazine’s Most Influential People, The Financial Times’ 25 Most Influential Women, Variety Power of Women, and British Vogue 25.”
When Meghan signed with WME, her team made it clear that she didn’t close the deal in hopes of returning to acting. At the time, Variety reported that her reason for partnering with WME was to focus on building her “social enterprise.”
While fans haven’t seen much from this deal, Meghan did tease that exciting projects are in the works and would be arriving soon.

WME will not drop Meghan as long as she is still paying them. She will eventually stop paying them like she did the other agency and then they will drop her. As long as they make money from her, they will keep her.
