Meghan Markle Ditches Good Friend To Maintain Appearances

Some fans of the British royal family believe there is something about the idea of loyalty, an ideal of inner character, which Meghan Markle apparently doesn’t grasp. Isn’t it a shame, they feel, that perhaps Meghan doesn’t put much stock in committing to one’s friends. After all, reports from the week of June 14 indicate that Meghan “friends reflect friends and because of what’s at stake she can no longer be associated with Jessica (Mulroney), at least not in public. She has to do what she has to do in order to preserve her dignity and her own reputation.”

In other words, Meghan Markle must slavishly devote herself to the winds of public opinion lest her star fade and she becomes just, “the wife of Prince Harry.” Many feel that Meghan is desperate to keep herself in the headlines since neither she nor Prince Harry has a full-time income at the moment. That means Meghan must somehow keep her name in the media so that she can land a lucrative acting gig or perhaps a regular role on a talk show, such as “The View.”

Some believe Meghan will do whatever it takes, including throwing Jessica Mulroney under the bus, in order to maintain the lifestyle to which she’s become accustomed. After all, Meghan’s popularity has gone out the window in the U.K. as indicated by British author Phil Dampier, who said that “I think the lockdown has been good image-wise for all of the royals except for Harry and Meghan. They are the big losers in this because they now look somewhat isolated and somewhat irrelevant in this country.”

He went on to note that when it comes to Meghan, the British masses are “just not really interested whereas all the other royals have gone up in popularity …”

The truth is, Meghan’s behavior toward Jessica Mulroney is more than shameful. Following the entire debacle between Mulroney and African American blogger, “Exeter,” Ms. Mulroney abjectly apologized for her perceived “white privilege” etc. and even offered her own platform to Ms. Exeter and other African American bloggers to advance their respective voices. Jessica Mulroney was still castigated as a racist and was, herself, de-platformed and fired from her position with “Good Morning America” as a fashion contributor.

Then, Meghan dropped the bomb that she can’t associate with Jessica. Because, image. After Jessica very publicly apologized and allowed herself to be flogged in the kangaroo court of media-driven public opinion, her best friend Meghan displayed an astonishing and shameful lack of character.

However, Meghan isn’t truly fooling the rank and file in the U.K or in the U.S.A. Everyone knows Prince Harry is basically a househusband these days. Tyler Perry may not allow the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to stay at his multi-million mansion indefinitely. Meghan’s all about the bling. She’s got to pull in some cash so that she and Prince Harry will be able to afford a gigantic place in Malibu. Who cares about Jessica Mulroney? For Meghan, she’s so yesterday.
