Meghan Markle is doing everything that she can to protect her mental health, no matter what it takes. While there was some speculation suggesting that she was going to hop back on Instagram, some royal critics believe it’s not going to happen anytime soon. Here’s what you need to know.

There have been reports suggesting the Duchess of Sussex is looking to relaunch her Instagram account as she wants to have a bigger social media presence than ever before.

Yet, one of the reasons why she quit social media back in 2020 is because of all the cyberbullying that she and Prince Harry had endured at the time.

That’s why some royal critics think it’s highly unlikely that she will be posting, liking, and commenting on the gram anytime soon.

PR expert Rhea Freeman even put it this way, “Will Meghan make a comeback to Instagram? Based on her recent comments, I don’t think a comeback is imminent.

The detrimental impact that social media can have on people from a mental health point of view, whether celebrity or not, can be huge, but looking at how other high-profile people manage their accounts, some of the tasks are delegated.”

But she also added, “It would be a very good idea, she doesn’t need to see the negative comments. They’re not helpful or productive and she won’t change people’s minds when they’re set on hating her.”

Another critic also chimed in with, “Meghan’s decision to step away from Instagram was a great decision from a public relations perspective. In her role as Duchess of Sussex, it is imperative to maintain her integrity and a positive public image. Responding to any negative comments would mar her public perception.”
