Meghan Markle Finally Called Her Father Thomas Markle
Per the latest reports, the Duchess of Sussex reached out to her father, Thomas Markle, after he was admitted to the hospital.
Apparently, Thomas Markle had his left leg amputated in a life-saving operation after it turned black as a result of a blood clot. He was taken to the hospital after he felt sick in his home in the Philippines.
Thomas Markle moved to Asia earlier this year after he realized that living alone in Mexico just wasn’t for him anymore.
But whether or not Meghan reaching out to her father means that she is going to stay in contact with him now remains to be seen. Either way though, it looks like what happened to Thomas was enough for Meghan to finally show that she cared again.

Clearly, the internet had a lot to say about the matter. Some royalists and critics even commented with, “She is a better woman than I am. I don’t think I’d contact my father if he treated me like Meghan’s dad did. She is giving him a lot of grace, despite him tormenting her for so many years.”
Another critic wrote, “I think she’s well aware of the potential for traps, because at least one of them will try it on. I think he must be quite sick for her to risk it, even though an intermediary. Hopefully, everything stays private and the tabloids get zilch.”
And then there was this comment as well: “Her generosity will be mislabeled as something savory by the naysayers. She gets only one father who wasn’t generous to her or her mother. She’s a saint.”
