Meghan Markle For Senate!

Meghan Markle seems unfazed by Prince Harry’s family cancer battle.  While Kate Middleton and King Charles have been undergoing cancer treatments and Prince William has been hanging on by a thread, Meghan Markle has been moving full-steam ahead with her Netflix series and new company American Riviera Orchard. 

But, that doesn’t mean her political aspirations have been put on the backburner.  Will Meghan Markle run for Senate?

It has been an ongoing joke and rumor that Meghan Markle planned to run for President Of The United States. 

Considering the fact that Kanye West campaigned for the position and Americans actually voted for Donald Trump at one point, the idea of Meghan Markle running for President is not as absurd as it sounds.

Meghan Markle’s political aspirations are very real, although she’s never openly stated she planned to run for President.  The odds of that happening any time soon are slim to none. 

Prince Harry did marry a self-proclaimed activist and womens’ rights advocate, and a chair in Senate could be a good way for her to dip her toe in politics and give her a leg up in issues close to her heart. 

In fact, her Suits co-star has even volunteered to run her campaign if she does eventually throw her hat in the ring.

Suits Star Campaigns For Meghan Markle

Suits fan fave Erika Alexander (who played the part of Jessica) recently did an interview with The Sun, and it wasn’t long until talk turned to her former co-star Meghan Markle. 

Erika joked to the tabloid, “She was doing great work as an activist, and I think she’d be a great senator,” Erika told the Sun. Run, run, I’ll come and run that campaign, and we’ll get this done. You hear me? We’re going to have a great time, and we’ll wear a nice little tiara the whole time.”

It’s safe to say Meghan Markle has Suits star Erika Alexander’s vote.  Would you vote for Prince Harry’s wife in an election for Senate?
