Now that Meghan Markle is on the scene, this means that Kate Middleton is officially a “full-time senior royal.” A lot of people have even noticed that the Duchess’ demeanor has changed ever since Prince Harry married Meghan Markle. She’s now much more confident than she has even been before and it shows in the way she walks, talks and presents herself. She is now showing the world that she’s ready for the next big step in her life – being Queen Consort.
“It’s a huge turning point,” Susan E. Kelley, owner and editor of the blog What Kate Wore, told Vanity Fair. “I think this is where Kate gets to make her mark.”

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about whether or not Kate Middleton will be taking up any additional work or if she is indeed preparing to take the throne. Fortunately, the Duchess does have some time on her hands. That’s because before she and Prince William become the new leaders of the monarchy, they will have to wait until Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles have their turn at the throne. And seeing how Queen Elizabeth is still in control – and in good health, no less – it will be quite some time before we see a Queen Catherine in our future. In other words, Kate has plenty of time to prepare!
