Meghan Markle Gets MAD At Critics, SLAMS Royal Family Social Media Rules!

Meghan Markle Gets MAD At Critics, SLAMS Royal Family Social Media Rules!Meghan Markle has repeatedly tried to convince the world that she dislikes the royal spotlight. But her actions just as often disprove her claims. For instance, after the Duchess of Sussex whined about all the attention, she sought more of the spotlight with a podcast.

And when that podcast in turn got criticism, Meghan whined some more. But in a new interview, the Duchess of Sussex hinted that she could sharpen her arrows and take aim at the royal family in a new way. Will Prince Harry’s wife make a dramatic return to Instagram? Get the details below!

Duchess Of Sussex Debates Instagram Return, Revisits Megxit

Play it again, Meghan Markle! August already saw a win for the Duchess of Sussex with her podcast soaring to the top of the charts. And so Meghan decided to tie up the month with a publicity stunt by telling a secret to Cut magazine.

(Memo to Ms. Meghan: Sharing a secret with a journalist guarantees it will get published promptly!) “I’m getting back … on Instagram,” announced the former actress with appropriate drama.  And then the Duchess of Sussex took a trip back in time to life before she tied the knot with Prince Harry. At that time, Meghan earned 3 million followers on Instagram. And she enjoyed posting all about her life, from yoga to favorite foods to her friends.

But when Markle became the Duchess of Sussex, it all changed. And she recalled what made her decide to step down from the royal family. But though she once again defended the action known as Megxit, Markle also hinted that she alone made the call to quit, dragging hubby Prince Harry with her.

Royal Rules Forced Meghan Markle To Share Instagram With Kate And Will

But the Duchess of Sussex also shared in her new interview that she hated surrendering her social media control. And she called it “a huge adjustment to go from that kind of autonomy to a different life.” As a result, Meghan struggled to adjust to that new world filled with royals and their protocol.

For instance, Markle admitted she got furious at the royal family rules about social media. And rather than controlling her own Instagram, the royals forced her to share. As a result, the Duchess of Sussex joined Prince William, Kate Middleton, and hubby Prince Harry on a single account, @KensingtonRoyal. But the demand to share her social made Meghan even madder.

And Markle’s anger over social media didn’t end there. For instance, royal protocol called for surrendering photos first to the U.K. media pool, known as the Royal Rota. And that made Meghan furious. As she battled with the British tabloids, Markle got angrier and angrier. And she demanded to know the reasons.

Meghan Markle – Challenges Royal Rota Rules

As a result of the Royal Rota rules, Meghan demanded to know how the U.K. media dared to make those demands. And she asked why she would want to turn over photos of her children to the British tabloids. Instead, Markle wanted to choose which journalists could publish the pics.

“Why would I give the very people that are calling my children the N-word a photo of my child before I can share it with the people that love my child?” the Duchess of Sussex asked. And she indicated that she still holds onto her anger from the past. “You tell me how that makes sense and then I’ll play that game.”

However, does all this mean that Meghan will now return to Instagram? Well, maybe. Given that the Duchess of Sussex knows how to play the PR game, she seemed to hesitate on making a commitment. And that means more publicity for the future as her public awaits her decision.
