It’s safe to say that this friendship is now dead in the water. That’s because one of Meghan Markle’s former friends has just slammed the Duchess of Sussex for being “utterly selfish” in her decision not to attend King Charles’ coronation. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

According to British television presenter Lizzie Cundy, who used to be good friends with Meghan Markle, she thinks that the former Hollywood actress is now being “selfish” for staying at home rather than accompany her husband Prince Harry on what will most likely be a very important day in King Charles’ life.
Lizzie put it this way to the Daily Mirror, “I think Meghan is not coming to the coronation because she knows she’s going to get booed but she’s putting her own feelings and worries about being booed before her children. I think it’s a travesty that Lilibet and Archie are not going to be at their grandfather’s coronation.”
She continued, “What will Harry and Meghan say to them when they’re older? When they say ‘Why weren’t we there at the most historical moment in British history? Why weren’t we on that balcony?’
What will Meghan answer? ‘I knew I was going to get booed so I didn’t want to go. She’s putting herself before anyone and in fact, Harry by boasting about the Taliban has put his own family and the security threat at its highest form. Not only the royal family but the whole nation.”
Is Meghan Markle Being Selfish?
That said, insiders close to the situation say that Meghan Markle knew that she wouldn’t be welcomed by the royal family and that is why she ultimately decided to skip the coronation altogether.
According to Page Six, one even said, “They had to make a decision that felt genuine and authentic, especially after everything that has been said and all the things that have gone down. The words that Harry and Meghan have said about the importance of their family are lining up with their actions. They care about their family, so Meghan is going to stay [in California] and Harry is going to support his dad.”

I think she is totally wrong in not going , the I’m a mom first excuse does not make Archie is 4 he won’t know the difference if they celebrate his birthday a week later. He should be there with his whole family. What kind of bday would that be. I know a lot of people like her but she is wrecking Harry’s life.
Well why go if the children weren’t invited, why leave them behind and according to the royals they didn’t want her to come in the first place so who is actually being selfish?? Why would William be with his wife and Harry without his? Why is Charles picking sides over both his own son’s??
I wouldn’t take my children anywhere that I was truly never welcomed in the first place and still not welcomed and I certainly wouldn’t take them somewhere I felt I was mistreated..
The children should go with Harry because I know those children are love and Megan should stay.I think Harry is control by her.I say that because if Harry would have it his way he would say your going.
Well Meghan would of possibly been liked if she hadn’t walked around like she owned it all. Who cares if she was an actress and in Hollywierd. Since she wasn’t from the UK and not known she should of been more of a wall flowers. Not everyone likes someone who acts all that and a bag of chips too. Have some respect for the Royals. You aren’t above them!
The children weren’t invited to the coronation, so why come to it if the grandchildren aren’t invited. People need to grow up, and stop worrying about what Harry and Meghan are doing.
People need to realize the kids are so young & not accustomed to the crowds also it’s an important day for Archie as well, he’s turning, so why take away from his day. Charles could have chosen another date so he could spend time celebrating a grandchild he has not entirely embraced♀️My opinion ☺️
