Meghan Markle Has A New Job

Meghan Markle might be on her maternity leave right now but that doesn’t mean she hasn’t been keeping very busy behind the scenes. As a matter of fact, the Duchess of Sussex has just landed herself a brand new and exciting project and we’ve got all of the details that you need to know right here.

According to reports, Meghan will be a guest editor for British Vogue’s September 2019 edition. For many royal fans, this seems like a natural fit as Meghan Markle is one of the most stylish women in the royal family and if not in the entire entertainment world, too.

If that weren’t enough, Prince Harry’s wife will also pose for the publication, too. Of course, this isn’t the first time that a member of the British monarchy has posed for Vogue. Meghan’s sister-in-law Kate Middleton did so in the past too and it was a huge hit. However, this will be Meghan’s first time posing for the magazine.

The annual September issue is a big deal for Vogue, as it’s normally their biggest magazine. Cosmopolitan says that Meghan will be “bringing a selection of female change-makers on board to write their own personal essays” and will oversee the entire editing process from start to finish. Now, that’s not to say that she will be taking over for Anna Wintour or any of the other Vogue editors anytime soon, but there’s a very good chance that the issue will be a huge hit!

So far Meghan Markle herself hasn’t made any comments about her new project. That’s because she’s been too busy enjoying every little moment she gets to have with her son Archie Harrison at home. The Duchess gave birth to the little tot in May and is expected to continue her maternity leave well into the summer.

While there’s a good chance that Meghan might make some public appearances here and there, she’s not expected to take on any official royal engagements until October. Until then, we are just going to have to wait until September so we can get our hands on our very own issue of British Vogue. We absolutely cannot wait!
