Is Meghan Markle acting again?  “Friends.” Friends say this and that about the life and plans of former actress, Meghan Markle. But, is what “friends say” accurate? Who knows? New articles come out all over the internet and in many and sundry magazines, but nary a “friend” is actually named when discussing Meghan or Prince Harry.

No, indeed. It’s always “anonymous sources” and “friends.” Will Meghan Markle resume her onscreen career in Hollywood? Well, no! Absolutely not! “Friends say.” That’s despite the fact that one of the biggest, apparent scandals Harry and Meghan faced while still senior members of the British Royal family had to do with Harry trying to drum up work for Meghan. Who remembers the fact that Prince Harry was overheard shamelessly pitching Bob Iger, the former head of Disney, concerning voice over work for his wife?

Who doesn’t remember the fact that there were many mainstream news reports that following Meghan’s voice over work for a Disney documentary (she got work with Disney after all) she was taking meetings with producers, and acting agents?  But no! No way! Meghan has no plans to return to acting. “Friends say.”

Then, of course, out of all places on the planet that Harry and Meghan could have chosen to build a new life, one of financial independence from the Crown, they chose Los Angeles. In fact they were seen multiple times checking out real estate in Malibu in an area where the price tag for a house runs around $15 Million.

How does anyone think Meghan and Harry will purchase such a residence? Prince Harry isn’t gunning for family money these days (remember the whole financial independence thing?) and Meghan’s net worth before she met Harry was reported to be in the range of $5 Million.

But never! Meghan has no plans to head back to acting! “Friends say.”  Even if one were to believe these nameless friends concerning their claims regarding Meghan’s plans for acting, one would then have to ask how Meghan and Harry plan to support their luxurious lifestyle.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex aren’t rock stars, you know. Harry has no university degree and it’s highly unlikely that Meghan will encourage him to head back to the military. They’re not allowed to use their former Royal titles, and Harry has no experience working for any particular industry. Therefore, how will they make the type of ends meet that is necessary to live in an ivory tower?  Children’s books!

The ugly truth is that magazines reporting all these over the top, gushing stories about Meghan and Prince Harry from unnamed sources ought to be ashamed of themselves. But, you know … capitalizing on the fame of Meghan and Harry does seem to bring in rubber necking readers … and their cash.
